Under the direction of Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Ward Parish, the Grade 4-5 IF students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Roots of Empathy project with Mrs. DeVries and Baby Amos! Roots of Empathy is an evidence-based classroom program that has shown significant effect in reducing levels of aggression among schoolchildren by raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy.
