The staff at Parkwood Heights Elementary would like to show its appreciation for the families that make up this wonderful school community by hosting the annual Family Day Breakfast on Wednesday, October 7th, from 7:30-8:30 in the school cafeteria. The theme for this year is : Families: The Natural Place for Children to Grow and Reach Their Potential. We are committed to ensuring that Parkwood is a place for your students to grown and reach their potential and know how important it is to work together with their families to this end!
This year’s Parent Information Session and Welcome back BBQ will be held on Thursday, September 24th, 2015 in conjunction with a Home and School Welcome Back BBQ, sponsored by the Home and School.
The agenda for the evening would be as follows:
5:30-6:00 Parent Information Session
6:00-6:30 BBQ
Parents and students meet with teachers in homeroom classrooms.
Childcare will be provided for pre-school aged children in the music room.
Our annual Meet-the-Teacher and Welcome Back BBQ will be held next Thursday evening, September 24th from 5:30-6:30. Please note the following schedule for this evening:
Students will accompany their parents to meet with child's teacher from 5:30-6:00 pm.
Students and parents can enjoy a BBQed hot dog or hamburger and lemonade, compliments of the Parkwood Home and School, from 6:00-6:30.
Note: Childcare will be provided for pre-school aged children.

Given the high cost of paper and photocopying we will not be sending home copies of the menu tickets this year, but simply ask parents to write a brief note on a slip of paper as to your child's menu choice, if buying. Simply place this slip in their ziplock so that the cafeteria staff know what to place on your child's tray. Thank you.
