This Thursday, May 28th I am planning to surprise all of my students with a quick visit and a treat. This is TOP SECRET! I can’t guarantee a time as I have 14 homes to visit but it will be between 10:00 - 2:30. If you will be home and are okay with me dropping off something and saying a quick hello, please send me a quick email.

I will be remaining outdoors (physical distancing) and can give a quick honk of my horn to let you know that I am in your driveway. I hope to make my first stop in Pointe Verte around 10 and then travel towards Bathurst from there.

I am so excited to see everyone. I have missed all of the children so much.

I look forward to hearing a response from you.

Take care and enjoy the sun!

Hello Parents and Grade 2 Friends,
Here are two announcements for today.

1) Our school district will be holding a virtual Olympics starting next Monday. We would like to encourage all students and their families to participate.
For more information go to the following link to register:

2) I have only received 5 student wishes for Baby Cora. If you haven't emailed me your wish for Cora please do so as soon as possible as I need to forward the wishes on to the Roots of Empathy Instructor by the end of the week.

Thank you for your time on this matter.
Take care,
Linda

Hi grade 2,

Here’s a little update on baby Cora. Cora is 11 months old! She’ll be 1 year old on May 13th. She has learned a lot since you last saw her. She can crawl! She stands up, she still loves eating lots of different foods. She’s starting to understand lots of things, and she loves to say “dada” “dadoo” and “deedee”. I hope she says “mama” soon! Here are some pictures of Cora for you. Take care!

Happy Earth Day, everyone. Remember to take a photo of your Earth Day poster and send it to me in an email or through Facebook messenger. I can't wait to see what you create. After supper tonight I will go for a walk and pick up the garabage I see along the road. I will post what I find. Hopefully not too much!

Hello everyone,

Thank you for checking in. To help everyone plan their days I will post a weekly list of literacy and math activities for you to choose from to help promote learning at home. Please note that these activities are only suggestions and your child may complete all of them, some of them or none of them. I will not be assessing any of their work, however I will be happy to review their work and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

When I post new items to this teacher page I will send out an email to let you know to check my teacher's page. Since not all of our families follow Facebook I felt that emails and this teacher page would be the best way to reach all of my grade two friends and their families. Please try to check your email at least a few times a week to stay informed on new learning opportunties for your child.

Your child's physical and mental health is the upmost importance during this time of difficulty. Please let them know that I think of them often and look forward to seeing them in the future. In the meantime, they are welcome to send me an email. I will do my best to reply to their email within a day or two.

Thank you for helping your child with these new learning opportunities.

Take care,

Linda Tulloch
