On Friday, December 5th at 12 noon, almost 70,000 students in elementary and middle school will be given an opportunity to ring bells for one minute in support of mental health.  Students, families and communit members are encouraged to visit www.dotsnb.ca where they will find a virtual bell that can be rung and counted among the growing number of people who support kid's mental health in New Brunswick.

We are hoping to have a great turn-out at our Home and School Meeting tonight.  One of the major items on the agenda is the Christmas Bazaar.  This is a special time for students at Parkwood as they get to 'shop' with their Parkwood Pete dollars for gifts for their family!  There are lots of volunteers needed to make this event a sucess.  Looking forward to seeing you tonight. Child care will be provided.  A Christmas movie, popcorn and lemonade are planned!

Students will be receiving their Term One Report Cards today.  Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday afternoon/evening, November 20th and Friday morning, November 21st.  Childcare will be provided during these times.  NO CLASSES for students on Friday due to Parent-Teacher Interviews in am and Staff Professional Development in the pm.

Hello Parkwood Families! ‘Tis the season of giving! And what a better way to give than to get involved in the Anglophone North School District – Bathurst Area “Spirit of Christmas” charity project. What does this involve? Parkwood students and staff have been asked to collect packages of fruit cups and/or applesauce to contribute to the Christmas packages personally delivered to the impoverished seniors of our community. All items need to be collected by December 12th so that the “elves” have a chance to package them for Christmas.
