WOW WOW WOW! This group of six and seven year olds jumped at the chance to help raise money for the people of Fort McMurray! On Tuesday, with the help of some parent and community volunteers they baked over 400 cookies, which they sold the next day. Afterwards, the students sorted, organized...

We received our frog eggs on Friday thanks to Kivar and his mom! They've already started to hatch. By Friday afternoon we already had about 20 tadpoles.

Grade 1A is contributing a basket to our school's Easter Basket Auction. The students chose the theme themselves and wanted a camping basket. We're asking families to please send in a camping item for our basket. Please note that all items need to be new and unused. Some ideas that our students came up with for a camping basket include:
- ingredients for s'mores
- flashlight
- lantern
- camping chairs
- cooler
- bug spray
- water bottles
- blankets/speeping bag
- roasting sticks (metal)
- etc.
Donations are voluntary and very much appreciated.
